It’s time to take stock of the old year and think about ringing in the new. 2011 has been a banner year. I finished my MFA, released my first story collection and took the book on the road to signings and readings. I drew from my experience in graduate school to present research on what makes a story Southern, and am happy to report that presentation is going on the road too.
I launched research for a children’s book. I’ve been invited to present at next spring’s Virginia Book Festival in Charlottesville and the Appalachian Studies Conference near Pittsburgh.
Along the way I’ve reconnected with old friends. It’s great to hear from you on email and Facebook. “Like” my Facebook author page and drop me a line at Tamra Wilson, Author.
Happy New Year!
